Billy has a trick coin that lands on heads 70% of the time. He is going to flip his coin twice. What is the probability that the coin will land on heads both times:

A. 25%
B. 49%
C. 70%
D. 77%

Second question is:

if c= cost in dollars
and p is equal the percentage of pollutants filtered

1. governemnt regulation require 85% removal of pollutants ..how much will it cost?

2. the company has $720000 budgeted for filtration. What % of pollutants could they filter if they spent the entire budget?

3. Explain what would happen to the cost if the company attempted to remove 100% of the pollutants from the water?

the question is bascially about the company and how it filterss waters..but it has nothin to do with the questions..so thats why i dont think u neeed to know it to answer this question i really really thanx u all whose gona answer this question.cause i am really stuff on this one...outa i think 75 questions these 2 are the only 2 i didnt get thankyyou

You should get the first question easily enough: the probability of getting a combinations of events (in this case, tossing heads, followed by tossing heads again) is the product of the probabilities of each individual event...
so the probability of tossing heads the first time is 70%, and the probability of tossing heads the second time is 70%, so the probability of doing both in two tosses is 70% times 70%

I don't think there is enough information to answer the questions about pollution. Did you leave out an equation? Maybe your teacher did, or maybe he/she wants to see if you know that there is not enough information.
