Does every navy seal take a BUD/S class?

Question

If someone is a navy seal will they immediately know what you are talking about when you ask them what BUD/S class they were in. I need to ask a question that every navy seal will know, but not every civilian would know of. A question undoubtebly common knowledge of a navy seal other than weapons.

yes every SEAL today goes through bud/s. sometime during the late sixties or early seventies they let some of the frogmen from UDT cross over into the SEALs, but i would guess most of those guys are long ago retired. if they say they didn't consider quiting during hell week, write them off as a liar. they should know not only their boat crew number, class number, swim buddies name, but they will be familiar with project game warden. that was a project that a lot of SEALs were involved in during Nam. ask him why what biz a SEAL has in the desert, if he says i have water in my canteen that's close enough, he is either for real or has done his homework.

Yes every SEAL goes to BUD/S. There has never been any "secret" BUD/S classes or anything like that, they all have a number. Right now they are on 263 or 264 I beleive.

it sounds to me like you really don't need the answer to this question.....there are too many people out there that are posing to be something they aren't, and with this kind of question, you appear to be someone trying to get into that clique. If you want the answer, join the Navy, and get into the Navy SEALs program successfully. That is how you will get your answer.
