At 20 weeks gestation, a female has all the eggs she will ever produce. When she begins her period in puberty, she begins to release those eggs. When menopause has fully set in, she can no longer get pregnant. Menopause can begin from the early 40s to late 50s. However, women who have begun menopause have been known to get pregnant. There are other factors, such as low egg count, that can cause a woman to be infertile before menopause as well.

They say your chances of having a baby with down syndrome and other birth defects rises dramatically after age 35. I wouldn't get pregnant after that age.

No set age. Once menapause is over you cannot have any children because your body no longer produces egg cells. What age that is varies from woman to woman and no one is 100 percent certain when that is gonna be.
