I keep my face CLEAN!!! Yet these minature nightmares are still here. I don't use ProActic and...never will. Im not rich. I use a cleanser called 'Purpose".
I know most of the things to keep pimples gone and I do them. I drink lots of water. I wash my face, not twice, but three, times a day, and I use a cleanser. Why are they still here? I've been doing this for a really long time now. I want my face back. Any home remedies? Anything?

Give me more details on how to avoid Pimples. Heat can help them go away? What about if you sweat?

Pimples don't necessarily come from external dirt, they come from skin cells and oil in your own skin. Washing your face three times a day may be causing a rebound effect resulting in an overproduction of oil.

I'm not sure why you're against Proactive. It just takes several steps of treating acne and puts them together. You can buy them separately as well, though, or just the steps you want/can afford. I'd recommend a salicylic wipe (like Oxy pads) and a 2-5% benzoil peroxide cream (in Oxy, Clearasil, and most other acne creams---read the ingredients list to see strength). I'd also use a light moisturizer, or an oil-free moisturizer with some jojoba oil added to it. You do have to have some moisture in your skin to balance what you're cleaning off, or you will have that rebound bounce-back of too much oil. If you want an at-home treatment, you can crush aspirin or alka-seltzer type tablets and mix the powder with witch hazel, and apply to your face as a mask. Use it for about 20 minutes, then rinse off and moisturize.

Diet does NOT create acne (pimples), and changing it will NOT make acne go away! The sun may seem offer a temporary fix, but it also has a bounce-back effect of overproduction of oil, in addition to damaging your skin. A doctor would tell you not to even think of treating acne in this way.

Go to the Dermotologist and ask about accutane. That will def clear them up. In the meantime, try Panoxyl Bar Soap 10%, you can find this at any drugstore. It works. Wash twice a day gently!! And wash with cool water always, never hot! After apply an oil free moisturizer. Try Cetaphil. They have good ones.
Good Luck!

Have a look at the ingredients in your cleanser, contain lots of chemicals? Yes, then it belongs in the toxic waste dump. Get out, get some fresh air, and some sunshine on your skin, and laugh, laugh a lot. Do you wear clothing that contains lots of non made made materials. This won't help you either, they make you sweat and contribute to your pimples. Diet is the easiest way to combat pimples and a positive outlook. Lots of fresh fruit & vege.

its possible that your cleaning your face too much. I have had acne for a while too. But the thing that helped me was the heat in Kuwait and Iraq when i was deployed. Try spending more time in the sun if you live in a warm climate. Still sometimes its genetics and there is nothing that can be done. Either way the body usually causes the hormone imbalance that causes acne, to become stable when we mature. If nothing else works, believe me time will.

so, never touch your face, it spreads the oil from your hands to face, try to keep the fast foos on a low level, the grease shows up in pimles, don't get chlorine on your skin often, and then get black head/pimple cream from biore, its really good (even though its agirl brand) also toothpaste works for spots....i hope i helped
