They are bullys to other people and I don't want to be part of it. Also I am worried that I might need them for money in the future.
I'm only 19 but my mind is made.
Any ideas?

you may want to try threrapy with your family to work out the problems. I happen to love my family so i have no idea how to cut ties with family members .... that doesn't mean your always going to get along your family, but its good to have a support system there for you.

You have to learn to love them from afar. You do not have to spend your every waking moment in their face to love them. Several people have this problem, my husband's family is nuts. We love them from afar. You say hello, how are you on scheduled days. Call on birthdays holidays, etc. You live your life for you. Family can bring a person down quicker than strangers.

Open the door and walk out. Forget where you lived all your life. Get a job and join the rest of the world who have weird relatives. That means the rest of everyone -- we all have the same problems.

you are only 19yrs old,you always need your family at some point in your life,so dont give up on them,maybe they are going through a bad patch,you could get your own place,but you will always fall back on your family,for some reason or other,good luck on what you decide to do.

DONT GET RID, KEEP THEM AT A DISTANCE, IM 29 AND DONT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY FAMILY BUT IVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO BREAK THE TIES BECAUSE, AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY ARE FAMILY, YOUMIGHT LEARN TO UNDERSTAND THEM BETTER 1 DAY.

move miles away and never contact them if thats how you really feel. if you are thinking about money in the future then just call now and again and keep in touch but stay well away.

Keep showing them their mistakes and don't run away from your duty! One day they'll recognize you were right! Don't expect immediate results; these things might take years to change!

If they're bullying other people, they'll bully you too. Just pack your bags and walk out now, if you haven't already done so and you can afford it.

Move out, pay your own bills. Just make your way and make enough money that you won't need them for anything.
