According to Buddhist philosophy, we don't believe in linear time as most perceive it in this life, so yes, you can be reincarnated into the past, other universes and planets, etc.
Hypnosis doesn't work like that.

Both of these assume that time is a fixed line that we move on, it is turned, changed by any alterations. We couldn't be reincarnated into the past, as that life has already been lived. As for looking into the future, that would mean it already exists, the looking into it would change it, a paradox.

the answers given would depend on the person's view of time--linear or circular. even if you move forward, you can still end up in 'our' past as time will circle back around (circular view). but i doubt that people would have memories of lives lived in the future, as the person would currently be in the present and the life wouldn't have happened yet, even if they had already lived it.
sorry if that doesn't sound quite right, it's hard to explain, it's more of an intuitive thing to me...

It does stand to reason that we could find out about the future from visits to our future lives. We can also find out a lot about our past from the same method of remembering.
My information is that we have to continue a forward time driven conscious, from life to life.
Thus we truly live with what we leave, when we regain our conscious mind in our new body. (Kaarma 101)

There is no life after death. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Man created God because he wants to be immortal.
Much more than simply a concept that applies to a limited segment of the world, reincarnation is a philosophy that has-at one time or another-been embraced by all the major religions of the world. It's a concept that can allow us to have compassion for one another because ultimately we are all equal-there is only one God, and we are all His children.

this is where science creates a trap
strictly speaking time is linear ,yet even the mystics say the other dimensions are free of time ,even science theorises it yet cant prove it
at death spirits can be drawn back in time but in time realise time is strictly linear ,our minds expectation to a great extent determine our reality ,essentially this is where belief helps in drawing us in company to where our beliefs will lead
often mystics will pretend to be able to foresee the future , indeed in spirit reality the future is able in the big things to be predicted how ever we all have freewill that negates its reality
it is as the quantum particle in the real observance being enough to cause its change
call it gods joke
i had theorised in times past as no doubt have others that so many being Cleopatra in past lives perhaps a logical way is that spirits die they move in time and enjoin as the one being Cleo patra
i even reverse enginered it that all those who thought to have been will become that one but time has forced me to see this is not needed ,it is simply that past lives are so rare ,
in its real being
that many are decieving them selves to a higher better past being to compensate or romantisize thier present being
time is percieved in real time ,we can change our perception , awarness of real time yet to our concious all will yet be progressive and present revealing future ,not going back ,
let the past be past ,many [too many] are living in the p-ast not this present moment ,even if we could yet be put in the past that present is yet our real today ,not yesterday nor tomorrow but our real [realised now]

If you believe in 'recreation' than the answer would be no. You can only move forwards.
