You are obviously a non-believer like me. Heaven is a concept invented by men, and so is that scenario. Even if there was a heaven, you wouldn't be able to get a serious answer out of anybody since they are still alive.

Free will is only a result in this life of the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden. Up to that point there wasn't free will. There will be no need for free will in Heaven, which was the intent God had in the creation of Adam and Eve, but because Adam & Eve were tempted and excepted that temptation, free will was born. If you think about it, why was Lucifer the angel of worship cast out of Heaven? I have read many think it was due to his free will. But it was actually the pride that rose up in him! He was a special made Angel! Lucifer had wisdom, beauty, ability, perfection, and yet he wanted more; he wanted to be worshiped like God. "PRIDE"

Now, why did Eve take the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Gen 3:6 "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it." Why did she need wisdom? She didn't, God had already given Adam and Eve all they needed but the serpent Satan, convinced her that she would become wise as God knowing all things! Isn't that the same thing Lucifer wanted before being cast out of Heaven? "PRIDE"

Do not be fooled there is most definitely a Heaven and Hell, both of which are eternal destinations! Even if people don't believe it! What will you do with your "free will"? Choose you this day LIFE or Death!

I dont believe that free will be eliminated in the sense that we know it now. I feel that the answer to your question goes back to the age old one..If there is a God, why isn't there irrefutable proof of him?. the answer is, if there was unquestionable to all men irrefutable proof, then the free will would be eliminated. We ALL would KNOW there is a God. Therefore we all would be kind of forced to serve him based on the knowledge that to not would be eternal damnation in Hell. So, that being said, when we enter the kingdom of Heaven, we will see God, in all his glory and know beyond a shadow of a doubt the he exists. So there would be no need for free will anymore. We used our free will on earth, and will have no need of it in Heaven. I hope this makes sense cuz its a hard concept to convey.

No. That is the very thing God is working most to preserve. He wants a people who will live forever with Him in Heaven and love Him and one another with no threat of introducing sin and rebellion into His Kingdom, even though they are completely free to do as they choose. This is the eternal purpose of God, and serves to explain why things have unfolded and are unfolding in the manner they do.

We will not lose our free will, other than the fact that we will not be able to sin.

I've often heard that Heaven is a lot like Earth, with houses and cars and bikes and parks, just without the sin, disease, danger, etc. Of course, no one knows for sure.

I don't think we will lose our free will.. Even the angels have free will, how else could Lucifer have led a rebellion against God and been cast to hell to now be known as the devil!.. If angels have free will, I think we will too..

Not if you chose to go there. A person can't enter Heaven if their will is not GOD's will.
