Methadone is used to ween people off heroin. It is highly addictive and should not ever be taken unless of course you are trying to get off heroin. The doctor will determine your dose based on your drug dependancy. If you have not been prescribed it DO NOT take it. It's not something that can be recreational, you will be hooked in no time.

Is a highly toxic chemical that belongs in the toxic waste dump. Doctors are not there to make us better, or hadn't you heard that? Doctors are told not to prescribe minerals (that make us better), if they do they are banned from doctoring. Methadone is not safe to take in any shape or form, as I said it is toxic.

It is a synthetic form of heroin (di acetyl morphine), which is used to treat heroin addiction, as it doesn't provide the "rush" that heroin gives, but some people claim it is more addictive, and harder to give up than heroin itself. Sometimes it is needed more than once daily, by former heavy users of heroin.
