there a lot of flu going around at the moment just want to see how many people have it ?

me feel like i've done ten rounds witha boxer as i ache from top to toe i'm also sneezing like a good un and burning up not bad to say ive had a flu jab but its def flu a cold wont knock me for ten like this has hope anyone who feels rank gets better soon x
p.s am only on here cos i cant sleep

A bunch. In the DFW area. we have had several school closings due to lack of students, and fear of communicability. Estimated 60-70% of people have or have had it. Those who had the flu shots are somewhat less susceptible; theirs don't seem as bad. Several of my friends have or have had it; it's characterized as the typical flu with getting better, then getting worse, then better, then worse, over about a week. The worst part from most people is the intractable diarrhea. And nausea and vomiting, preventing you from holding anything down. And, as you might expect, diarrhea prevents anti-nausea suppositories. You just lay there and wish you could die.
I got lucky. I didn't get the flu; I got pneumonia. Nyah, Nyah.

i am not well at the mo don t know if its flu i feel like i gone a few rounds with Tyson got a blurry head and ache all over and a sore chest is that flu???????

I don't have the flu but am into my 2nd week of the VERY nasty cold and it's left me with a husky phone voice...

since moving to australia three years ago i have not had one cold or flu. But in london i had it every other month, i blame the tube....
