Disbelief doesn't change the fact that they were created by God. Does God know in advance which people are going to become atheist and so does not give them morals?

Or could it be that our morals don't come from God...

Apparently, we have no morals.

Who ever said atheists don't have morals? That's a great example of a strawman argument. Everybody agrees that atheists and theists both have morals. The only thing is, atheists don't have any basis for the morals they have. In a materialistic universe, there is no reason why I should do this or that. Don't say "for the good of society" or "for the continuation of the human race" - what if I don't care about society or the human race?

So, atheists' morals (or Buddhists, or Muslims, etc) come from the same place: from God. There's no problem with that.

Edit for rosbif: If you think that Christians believe we get our morals from a "book of old stories", then you seriously need to think about your position. Contact me if you want to talk.

Edit for williwoodford: I'm glad, at 11 years old, you have figured out the entire universe and defeated God. That's great that you have figured out all the answers, and (quite obviously) without actually asking any of the relevant questions!

God gives us a conscience. Conscience literally means "with knowledge". We are all born with a knowledge of what is right and wrong. People who have never heard of God know that it is wrong to lie, steal, murder, disrespect your parents, etc.

Here is the problem: According to the Bible, "None are good, no not one." That is why God in His incredible kindness gave us a way to be with Him forever. We first have to realize that according to God's holy standards we have all sinned and deserve to be punished. If you don't believe so, take the Good Person Test at the link I have provided.

Then, we look to the bloody and broken body of Jesus (born of a virgin, fully God and fully man) on the cross and realize that He took the punishment that we deserved. He alone paid the price. He alone deserves the Glory. All we have to do is turn from our sins and accept the grace that is offered.

God knows everything; past, present, and future. I do not believe atheists are any more immoral than the rest of us. Perhaps you should restate your question in a less offensive manner.

"That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust."
Matthew 5:45

God does not pass out morals. Morals are learned from our culture. We inherited a sin nature from Adam and Eve. We need to be taught morals. I believe the best place to learn morals is God's word. Atheists believe they are inherently moral, and thus do not need God's word.

I believe morality is written into the very fabric of our being. This is why an atheist can stand up immediately and condemn things he KNOWS to be wrong even though he doesnt know God. Unfortunately for him, he has no basis for standing up for objective morality because atheism provides no foundation for it.

i do no longer count number on god. yet i have self belief that being a jerk face is obnoxious. I particularly have my personal morals. Jesus Christ isn't the in reality man or woman preaching a thanks to be a reliable man or woman. In my e book, destroying the Earth is a sin, yet I refuse to experience to blame each and each of the time for "God". human beings advanced to be more suitable smart than the different animals. And with being smart, comes a experience of doing suitable. because some human beings particularly care about hurting others thoughts. I particularly have a wide conscious. some human beings do suitable because they prefer to, no longer only because they worry hell. Animals are not evil! Or is that a christian issue too, that animals are evil, it truly is why they do no longer have a heaven? How unfair! Animals, a lot less smart than us, live how nature meant. we are type of evil, in my view. no longer the animals, human beings are, for destroying nature.

Morals don't come from God. They come from human intelligence, common sense, and empathy for your fellow man.
