There is no death. What you call "death" is a change in focus from this physicality.

One's experience upon "death" (there actually is no moment of death) in part depends upon what they believed when they "died". If they see flames, the flames will be frightening, until they are shown that they are making the flames based upon their beliefs. They will be shown that reality is far kinder than they dared believe.

There is only life, and we are free; there is only love, and we are beloved.

There are very few people who have died and come back to life, and those that have don't have much to report, and I'm certain that the reason they don't have much to report can be found in the Bible (sorry about that, but I believe that the Bible is still the most reliable source of information since God is the author of life and death) when it says, "The living know that they shall die, but the dead DON'T KNOW ANYTHING." It goes on to say that they no longer are subject to emotions, even their thoughts perish. It also says that the body "goes back to dust", the breath of life "goes back to God who gave it", and the person ceases to exist. It is just the reverse of creation when God formed man from the dust of the earth, breathed into him the breath of life, and man became a living soul. It is sort of like building a wooden box: lumber and nails put together make a box. When you take it apart, you have a pile of lumber and a pile of nails, but NO BOX. Where did it go? Nowhere! It simply ceased to exist. When humans breathe their last, it is as though they fall into a deep, dreamless sleep. They are NOT in heaven in a spirit consciousness: they are NOT in purgatory waiting for someone to pray or buy them out: they are NOT burning in hell. They are sleeping. In fact the Bible calls death "a sleep" in many places. The dead will "sleep" until Jesus comes again. Then everyone will be raised, some to everlasting life in the new earth, some to everlasting death in the fires of hell where they will be destroyed to ashes along with the devil and all evil.

All I can do is tell you that the Bible says that the dead are sleeping. It is stated in Ecclesiastes that they have no knowledge, nor work, in Sheohl, which is mankind's common grave. Hellfire is a false teaching and is found nowhere in the Bible. The Bible teaches the hope for resurrection.

Well, if you are open minded, I will let you know what God says. After we die, we will be judged according to if we have Jesus Christ as our Savior, and according to what we have done (Obedience to God's commands). There is a book (Lamb's Book of Life) and if our names are not in the Book of Life, then we are sent to Hell, where there is no light, no good, no love, only darkness and dispair. But if our names are in the Book, then we enter Heaven, eternal paradise with God Almighty.

Um - there is a passage in the Bible that says there is nothing after death - especially no life after death. Can you find that passage? Dare you?

You rot. You're dead. That's it. It's over.

It's death after life, not life after death. Make the most of the time you have because there's no overtime period.

I believe you cannot think, hear, feel, smell, taste, or see. You are not concious. It is like sleeping, but you don't dream.
I don't believe your 'soul' goes somewhere. I think you rot in a little wood box.
That's what I think.
