We know in our hearts what to be true, we know Jesus to be our Lord and saviour, and what God wants of us (Live, to show His Glory, and to Love). But, why give in to other people's questions and start spewing out hate and judging? That is not what God wants? God wants us to live, to show His glory, to love, and not to judge or condemn.

If we know something to be wrong, don't argue back to the person, and call them names, spew out hate, etc...that is what they want. They wants us to "break" and do that. But just show love for them, even if they are not believers. We are to Love our God" and to "Love our neighbor as ourself" That is, to show mercy, and love, and compassion, and forgiveness for each person, no matter their belief. We are to contiunously pray. Pray in all things. Pray without ceasing. We know in our hearts what it right!

God bless!

You are absolutely correct. And the temptation to lower ourselves is so great here in this forum. Thanks for the reminder. God Bless!

I think it's the "flight or fight" thing. Someone attacks The Lord God Almighty, or attacks us personally, and it's ugly and vicious and for no reason. Peter in the garden cut off an ear of one of Jesus's attackers but Jesus restored his ear. The next time Peter ran. I guess it's wanting to not run. I get very angry when anyone badmouths my Lord, He is my Father, my heavenly Father, but still my Father. I don't understand how those people can have so much hate for someone they obviously don't know. I love Him, He is my Father, my comforter, my Deliverer, my Savior, if we attacked without cause someone they loved wouldn't they hurt? of course they would. Still we are to be gentle and patient with them, while they are ugly, hurtful, spiteful, and dirty mouthed to us! It is very hard to stay calm all the time. I am a grandma and I want to wash their mouths out with lye soap and take a razor strap to their behinds!

It's amazing to me that the only people that Jesus ever condemned were the hypocritical religious leaders of the day. The way He lived His life around the common people is just as you described.

I answe questions gladly and with love for God in my heart and words. I never incite an arguement. I say what I know and pray the person will see God thru me. Not all Christians are that mean spirited as you say!

1Peter 3:8-18, 2Cor. 5:11-21

We are ambassadors, not conquistadors, we are representing the methods, message and character of the king. When we do anything else, we are sinning against the very person we are trying to defend...or is it HE or WE that we are defending. If one is to do "apologetics" one has to have as Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason says, we are to have "an accurately informed mind, an artful method, and an attractive manner" (www.str.org)
People who do not do that are either uninformed or reacting rather than responding as Christ would.
Thanks for the message

I don't thank that a Christian who is not born again can do that.

Look at the number of attack-dog Christians that belong to this forum.

Don't blame the Christians for all the wars over religion, remember there are groups of people who are bound by their religion to kill the infidels and take whatever belonged to the infidels.

I agree with you brother, although sometimes I may give a sarcastic answer to a sarcastic question. We are not perfect, just forgiven. I think those who get upset are not yet mature in the Lord, or just argue for the sake of arguing.

Amen bro - a word in season is one of the best ways, however, the Lord gave straight answers to people, but always in love. We need to speak the truth with the authority which Christ has given us, but I stress, it should always be in love. - Yes your so right!

amen brother ... and I'm not a fellow Christian

believe it or not ... some of us who ask questions just want to know what you think, to try and understand why you feel the way you do

quotes from scripture or the bible mean little to those who dont believe ... I know thats why sometimes I get frustrated and feel like i'm trying to comunicate with aliens

i've got self assurance that each and every physique is entitled to their opinion and that i've got self assurance that it somewhat is not what God planned to ensue, yet you're honestly nonetheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. Its form of like asserting that folk who...think of cussing is okay are not Christian. it somewhat is ridiculous, i be responsive to a large form of Christians who cuss! So i think of you're nonetheless a Christian in case you help gay rights. God will continuously choose you somewhat.:-)
