i was shopping and a bloke came over and told me i was really pretty etc and ask me if he could give me his telephone number he seemed ok but i'm just not used to this sort of thing when im shopping, normally only happens when im out at night with my friends, he said i could bring a friend with me if i decided that i would go out with him, for a meal or go see a film or the pub, i was'nt goin to take his number but he saw me getting in my car and put it thru the window

It would be very surprising if this "bloke" wasn't some sort of predator looking for an easy woman. Lay off and ignore this bum.
Your initial gut reaction is what you have to follow - you didn't like his approach and what he represented. Listen to your head and stay out of trouble.

I would take a friend on the first few occassions then you will get a gut feel of what he is like. Or maybe talk to him on the fone a bit before meeting up. Good luck x

I would go out with the guy if you don't have a funny feeling he is a serial killer or something.
If you are looking for a relationship, you really just got lucky. you should take a chance on the guy I think. I would anyway.

I think that you shouldn't talk to him or give him any contact -- he could turn out to be a kidnapper or a rapist...I'd watch out if I were you.
