Don't know what product you are talking about, but yes, it is all about sales.

Remember the "spray on hair" if those chaps weren't bald when they sprayed that muck all over their heads, they are now!

I bought a product from TV add once. I was asked if I wanted new shipments every month, I said no. They came anyway. I refused to accept them, contacted my credit card provider, sent a registered letter and finally got a refund.

NEVER AGAIN!!

Unfortunately, that is the way that it so often is now|

Many companies and entrepreneurs only care about the *bottom line|* The quality of the product is only a means to that end, and will give you trash itself if they can make a profit by doing so| They don't care about the quality of the product for its own sake|

It is not like the old days where companies showed a balance between having pride in making a good product and wanting a reasonable recompense for selling it at the same time| Now, so often, it is all about *take alone* rather than the proper balance of give and receive|

i've never bought anything off tv, but seeing the ads over and over again it sort of starts to get burned into my brain and i want to buy stuff.

those excercising machines they show before and after of people, and they're clearly two different people. A fatty for the before and a different buff person for the second.

They dont say anything on the ad about healthy eating or the rest, they just claim that if you do it - it works.

I guess you have to be smarter than to fall for it!!

I live in LA and all the time I see ads needing "before" people. So yeah, they are fake.
