I don't think a broken heart ever heals. It may be stitched back together but the scars are always there. I was struggling with the same situation I once loved a guy but he broke my heart. I still love him but I guess it has started to go down because I am feeling a little better. My advice is just give it some time and don't forget to spend a lot of time with your friends, they are always there to help you and I hope you feel better soon.

This worked for me:

1. Find support in friends/family
2. Allow yourself to grieve. You need the time to cry and let it out.
3. Avoid contact with the other person
4. Get feelings out with a therapist. They help you make sense of the situation.
5. Get books on this situation to find acceptance.
6. Do things to get distracted (go out, shop, etc)
7. Figure out what YOU NEEDED and not what the other person didn't or did provide.
8. Rediscover yourself. We tend to lose ourselves in a relationship. This helped me the most. I forgot about all the things I didn't get a chance to do when I was tied down in a relationship.
9. Reinvention. Create the new you. Be the person you want everyone to see. If you don't feel good on the inside, you can at least make yourself look good on the outside.

You are going through a really hard time right now. I know. Everyone has had their heart broken at least once if they are honest. But I don't know of any thing but time. Just try to keep busy. What ever you like to do, I found out keeping busy with activities helps. Also you get out there and get around so you can meet others.

There's no quick cure. Surround yourself with happy things and just try not to think about it. Talk to your friends.
The only thing that can mend a broken heart is time.
Though a bit of chocolate always takes away the pain.

It can't heal but you can batch up the bruise.

There is no easy way to heal a broken heart. It all takes time. You just have to keep yourself busy. Talk to friends, go shopping, (buying something new helps). Cry and time will heal your heart.

a broken heart just does not go away. there will always be something that will bring back that broken heart. what you can do is to try and keep your mind off that person. try talking to another dude or going out with your friends. otherwise you just have to let it run its course, it will get easier day by day, untill you are not thinking about that person anymore.

Friends, ice cream, and a good horror flick. Talk it out. Broken hearts take time to heal depending on how strong the attchment was.

there's not a fast fix. Try to force the thoughts out of your mind when your dwelling on them. Know that you can have better and the your wasting your time feeling horrible and crying...because those tears change nothing. That is one thing you have to realize.

It's been over a year since me and my bf broke up...and I'm still not over it, still love him, and I still cry occasionally so I guess I'm not the person to give advice ha ha.
