I know, I know that I'm combining two big no-nos, but I need some help in how to approach a married woman. We are already very good friends and spend a lot of time together at work, taking lunches and breaks together.
How do you see if she is interested in something more without tanking the friendship or my career?

RUN, don't walk from this situation.

You and she have already crossed some serious boundaries of trust here, by allowing yourselves to become too close under the old guise of "friendship". That wasn't wise to begin with.

Now, think about this a moment: Do you REALLY want a woman who is willing to sneak around and cheat on the man she exchanged VOWS with? (Her words mean absolutely nothing....) Do you want to form a relationship with a woman who would screw someone over this way? Don't make a mistake: If she'll do it to him, she'll eventually do it to you.

And think about this - what if he finds out? What is a jealous husband capable of? And most juries would sympathize with the wronged husband - not the adulterous woman and her gigolo.

;And how in the world can you place adultery on the same level as not dating someone in the office? ("combining two big no-nos"). No...you're standing at the edge of a cliff ready to plunge yourself into outright emotional, and maybe physical disaster, with complete disregard for you, the woman involved, God, and propriety.....and you think that rivals breaking the "sanctity" of not dating someone in the office?

Wake up!!!! No roll in the hay is good enough to warrant the can of worms you're getting ready to lay into.....if you have ANY sense of self-worth, dignity, esteem for yourself, or any regard of friendship for this woman whatsoever, then TRULY TRULY TRULY be the man and break this off once and forever.....chummy little lunch breaks and all!

First you do a lot of drugs.

Second you have a full frontal lobotomy

Then if you still think its a good idea, you invite her husband to the pistol range. Just after you have finished firing at a target and he's getting ready to shoot at his target, you ask his permission.

If you get his permission rather than a bullet in the head, then she's better off without him.... but she'd be better off without you too so shoot yourself anyway.

uhh...what?
well first of all do you want to break up their marriage?
or are you just looking for something on the side with no strings attached.
See if she will do something outside of work with you. That should give you a clue. Since doing things AT work is too convenient and doesn't really tell you anything.

Find someone available. This will just create problems. Theres an available woman that you'd be interested in, somewhere, I promise, go find her, and pray that she'll be merciful enough to like someone who considered hitting on a married woman.

You really shouldn't hit on on you coworker if she is married and especially if she has kids. She might be perfectly happy at home and find it offensive that you would hit on her or be the home-wrecking type. You wouldn't want anyone hitting on your girlfriend or wife while she was at work, so give her husband the same respect.

Put an ad in the personals, circle it, leave it on her desk, and see if she answers.... Seriously?? If you value the friendship, don't hit on her. Find an appropriate F*buddy. It's not that hard to do.

Well you don't. She is married and if she was interested in you or wanted to be more than friends she would be seperated or divorced and she's not. Sorry to burst your bubble but if she wanted you she would make a move.

Don't do this it'll only be another gossip story for the girls and guys to talk about then you'll feel all weird and get unwanted stares its not worth it. she could be just wanting another man attention is all we all do.

I am not doubting her beauty & your powerlessness as you gaze in awe, being totally weakened & drooling over total eye candy.

But would you want someone to steal your hot wife like that?

Think about it!

i would start with something soft... maybe a pillow or a Nerf ball... need to really leave the "other" inferred aside... it will ruin your friendship, your career, her life, well. .. your life too... her career... any children involved... oh lets not for get his life and his career...
