I have two. A ten year old, 16.3hh, Dutch Warmblood cross Selle Francais gelding (who I bought as a four year old), and a two year old, 16.2hh (and growing!) Bavarian Warmblood cross TBxShire gelding (who I bought before he was weaned).

It costs twice as much, and is twice as much hard work, but I love them both to bits! (I'd have more if I had my own place!)...

I have a 20 year old quarter horse mare and had a 27 year old Paso Fino Gelding that just died of Colic last june, I miss him soooo much. If you can find a horse with an extra gait, like a paso fino, definately get him if he's well trained and resonabley priced. Paso Fino's are very sweet tempered, not too tall, calm, have slow growing hooves, and a "rolling" trot that makes you feel as if you are floating. It's very cool. Also Missouri Fox Trotter, and Tennessee Walking Horse are some other good ones.

I have three, one of which I raised from a baby, and I wouldn't trade any of them for the world, except when my gelding gets out and eats my grandmas flowers. Although having more than one more than doubles your work. It's nice to have more if you and a friend want to go riding. Or if you have a mare, and have the experience, having a foal can be very rewarding. Just make sure you talk to a breeder or someone with experience to decide on good stud. Aslong as you remember that having two is a huge responsibility. Finding a home for one is a lot easier than finding a home for two.

There's a very cute TB at my barn who's for sale. He's a really nice hunter/jumper and from what I can tell, he's really well bahaved. He's near Akron OH. He's on dreamhorse... you can look there or contact me if you're interested.

Personally I do sorta have a horse... she belongs to the barn, but i pretty much take care of her and ride her whenever and stuff... i do a lot... except pay for her. She used to be a dressage horse, but I ride her as a hunter... I'm trying to teach her to jump, but she has back and leg problems, so it's hard for her. she's great :o)

I had a horse until July of last year, when my Arabian died at the age of 24.

I want to get another horse, but I have to wait until I have the time to take care of him properly. :-(( I'm caretaker for my elderly father now and that has to take precedence.

It depends what breed you would like to buy. I have 3 mares and 1 gelding.

If you would like to have a quarter horse go to -www.aqha.com or go to:

www.horsemarketer.com/

northernhorse.com/ - Horses for sale, stallions, horse ranches, horse sales, horse classifieds and events for horses in Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, Manitoba, Ontario, Canada.

www.horsetopia.com (best thing I would look up for horses for sale)

Good luck with finding a horse!!!

I have one beautiful holstiener gelding. We go in shows and win ribbons, but unfortunatly he's lame right now.

What sort of sicko are you, Smart Azzzzz? If you are joking, its a joke in bad taste, and is NOT FUNNY, because stuff like that can happen. You're a jerk. Stop acting like you're two.
