Did you get an e-mail that stated this or talked to someone at B of A.

There are several e-mail phishing schemes that say your account has been frozen and have you logon to a fake site, but it is used to get information from you for Identity theft. If this is the case call Bank of America right away and let them know.

If you haven't talk to B of A then you need to talk to them. It could be many from you have overdrawn your account to a court order to freeze the account has been placed on it.

Pull out your debit card and call the number of the back.

Odds are you received an email that wants you to give your logon details to a SCAMMER.

If you clicked a link in the email that notified you, now go DIRECTLY (don't click a link) to the BofA website enter your info and change your password. NOW.

And make sure you call BofA and find out what is going on. This sounds way too close to a scam.

The only time a bank freezes somebodys account is that it has been hacked into. Call the bank and talk to somebody if you didn't request a hold on your account.

Somebody could have gotten a hold of your account number or check and started floating them around town. Better check your balance. Better yet, why not ask the bank? duh...
