If you're feeling that unstable, you probably shouldn't be driving. In your present frame of mind, you could have an accident, killing or injuring yourself or others. It is not safe for you to drive. You did not mention your age. Do you have Alzheimer's. Are you on drugs or strong meds? You should get to a doctor and have a complete physical checkup. If you still feel uneasy about driving, I would give it up. Lots of people rely on friends, relatives or public transportation to get them where they're going, and they get along just fine. But please see your doctor to find out the source of your inability to care for yourself, particularly as it concerns driving. I'm sure there is help available, but you have to make the first move. There are agencies that can provide assistance for you. So don't delay another day, and don't drive until you feel better. Good luck and God bless.

I think you need to go see your doctor and tell him/her what is going on. You will have to start taking the bus or use a volunteer driver (thru social services?) or get a friend to drive you. If you don't have dementia, then there is probably something the doc can do to make your mind sharper and you can drive again.

good luck! don't delay!!

I think you need to see a doctor and tell him how you are feeling. Don't be afraid to do this. Good luck my friend.

Become as organized as possible. Your brain tries to be as efficient and organized as it can, and in the absince of efficency and organization, frustration occurs.
