My best friend is totaly in love this guy. They are'nt offically engaged but they both said they wanted to get married... several times.
i met him, he's really cool... except. i think he was flirting with me. we went to the movies as a big group. he held my friends hand and rubbed my leg with his foot, (he took off his shoe). he kept going higher up my leg. It was odd... couple weeks later, my friends going out of town. he said he wanted to see a movie w/me . She thinks he's going to go" wing wink" go ring shopping for her. and thinks he just wanted friends help on picking out the ring. He hasn't said much about the rings though... he's more focused on the movie. my friend wants me to go to the "movie" so bad and begged me, I finally agreed, but I'm worried. i dont want him to do something stupid. i dont want to hurt my friend.am i overanalyzing this?

I've been in this situation before Wat u need to tell him is that she is your friend and you don't want to do anything to mess that relationship up because a friendship is way bigger than some little fling......also the best thing is to drop hints to your friend you know because if u don't tell her even though you are protecting her feelings she's going to end up hurt in the end *TRUST* i know the best thing is to just leave him alone beacause he's drilling you into a big dark whole sweetie

Well then talk to him, say that you want details on what your guy's plan is, bring up the ring and ask where does he want to go to look for a ring for her. If he still makes you feel uncomfortable, then let hm know that she is your best friend and that you would never do anything to jeopardize your friendship with her - but only bring this up if it seems like he is hitting on you or if it seems like ring shopping ins't in the plans. Why wouldn't he take his girlfriend ring shopping?

How good of a friend is she --- is the question. If she is a really good friend tell the guy to piss off and tell your friend what has been going on. If she isnt then go for it -- if they arnt married yet then hes fair game and you need to make your move....but remember if he did it to her he will do it you so dont believe for a second that he wont hit on one of your friends.

Go with your gut instinct. It shounds as if he is flurting. If he tries anything at the movies, just tell him that you don't want to hurt your friend by doing something foolish.
