My boyfriend is about to graduate from college and he may have a job prospect at a place that is an hour away. He keeps talking about all of these other job offers in other states though. He says he just wants to go on the trips and that the interviews don't mean anything. I feel skeptable. He even said last night that if he had to, meaning the job in state didn't work out, that he would have to move away. I just sort of let him talk and later that night I couldn't hold it in anymore and told him it made me sad and started crying a little. He said he loved me and didn't want to lose me but why would he keep talking to me about these job offers? He's obviously considering them. What do I do if in he tells me that in August he's moving away? How do I deal with the uncertainty until I find out for sure?

I know it's hard but you need to let him do what is best for him. It is his future we are talking about. You two should definitely keep talking about it no matter how hard it is. If you just keep ignoring it it's not going to help anything. It's better that you are informed so that you can make any decisions you may need to make depending on what he is going to do.

I am a 27 yr.old man now. when i was 21 after graduating from college. i took construction jobs led me far from home. i thought it would work w/ me and my GF back home, she was still in high school. We both loved each other. it was too much for her to only see me monthly, she got very emotional. i knew i had to choose and i chose a construction life, being a hero. up high way... down low... building all the time, night shifts. I regret losing her every day. My advice show how much you care by writing pros and cons down on paper and be assertive and tell him in a facts kind of way what his choice should be. He will dig that.

well if 4 sure he is moving spend time with him and hang out with him. he mite b considering them now but things may change if you really have an affect on him he will change 4 you!

Maybe he's trying to see what you say and he really wants you to move with him!!! Did y'all talk about that at all? Maybe you should.
