I do several types of ad workouts (crunches, bicycle, different pilates workouts) nightly, and I do about 30 or so reps each time, or until it hurts too much, then I rest for a few seconds and keep going. I definitely feel my muscles working while I'm doing it, but a minute after I'm done working out, I don't feel a thing, as if I never did any. Shouldn't I be feeling a soreness or tightness afterwards? I don't think I'm doing it wrong, but I wanna feel something to let me know that it's working.

u R working them.. but to feel soreness.. you need to up the intensity.. find new different types of ab workouts.. you body is probably just "use" to the ones you are doing... you have to change your workout routine... and do more reps also.

For me ,if I don't feel it I didn't do enough. Everybody is different but if you do enough or too much you will definately feel it. It could be the speed of the repititions or you might try weighted resistance exercises. If in doubt just do a ton of the exercises to the point it is rediculous and see how they feel the next day. hope this helps.

the hardest area to lose fat is the mid section... your abs are strong already because every single move you make uses your abdominal muscles... even when you sneeze or cough... that's why you don't feel anything after the workout... because... they are already trained by nature... if you want to see abs... you need to lose all fat around the mid section... running and cardiovascular activities is the way

It doesn't have to feel like anything. If you lift weights for your arm muscles, do you feel your arm muscles tight all day long, every day? Forget wanting to FEEL your muscles and concentrate on how they LOOK

It sounds as though you are doing warm up exercises because if you warm up properly there should be NO pain or stiffness afterwards.

So I would say, relax you're doing fine.
