Manners never go out of style.

Manners are always important, as is respect. To bad many people forget to teach that the important thing is giving them, not receiving.

Manners, respect, and overall consideration never go out of style to those who care. Sadly, there seems to be a larger portion of the world today wherein there is no longer any caring or attention for these things.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you seem to be saying "No-one shows ME any courtesy, so why should I show THEM any?"

The point of good manners is giving, not receiving. You're right in saying that good manners are not so evident these days, you're not the only one to notice it - but don't give up. It's always worth it.

And people will remember you for it.

I think manners have been flushed in the toilet, but they should matter. I am trying to teach my young boys manners and respect for everyone. Altho their peers are very influencial, I still maintain committed to my conviction and pray that other people will follow.
