Sweetie, you should have what your in the mood for.
If you want something hearty and filling, maybe a soup?My suggestion would be cheesy patatoe soup.
Heres the Recipe for that:
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
4 cups water
8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
15 slices American cheese - broken into pieces
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 1/3 cups milk
Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Saute the onions and celery in the butter for 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender.
Stir in the water and potatoes, bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are tender. Add the cheese and stir until melted.
In a separate small bowl, combine the flour and the milk and stir well until the flour is mostly dissolved. Pour this into the soup slowly, stirring constantly, until soup has thickened, about 5 minutes.
If you want something light, maybe a nice salad with your choice of items with garlic bread.
You could also, use up left overs to make (again a salad and add them to it) or look and see what left overs you have.Cook up some pasta, and add leftovers.Who knows, you may discover a new dish. You could also,do this with tortillas, and do the same.Use up left overs so you dont have to slave over the stove!!
I havent eaten dinner yet,but i think I will have a bowl of cereal,i am not very hungry.Have a good night hun, good luck!
