They sure do. The threshold of evidence is quite low when it might back the Bible. I had this discussion by email less than a week ago because I did the math on just the Elephants and their food and was over by more than 100 tons from the largest wooden ship ever built.

They are so sick of hearing the scientific evidence against a literal interpretation of the Bible that they jump on even the hint of scientific backing and won't let go.
