This has to be the most popular question on yahoo answers under diets. People come in here asking how to lose over 10lbs and even up to 40lbs in some cases all in one month. Let me ask you all something. Have you ever put on 40lbs in a month? How do you expect to lose that much if you've never gained that much in such a short period of time.
Here's your answer:
a. slim fast has too much sugar. It's going to give your body an insulin spike. Your body will be more inclined to store fat this way.
b. the apple is nothing. where's the protein.?? protein has the greatest metabolic impact on your body (it takes the most energy and water to break down)
c. cereal for dinner! have you gone mad!? That's another high glycemic carbohydrate source. More insulin spike and more fat storage.
d. 1 liter of water is nothing. How about a gallon instead.
e. Build up your walk to a jog and then eventually a run. Optimally you want to have your heart working at least up to 75% of its max. (max heart rate = (220 - Age) * 0.75.
f. Lift weights, whether you are a man or a woman. More muscle equals more calorie expenditure throughout the day even while you are sitting on the couch.

You actually may not be eating enough. I'm no expert but if you don't eat enough, your metabolism will slow down and you won't burn the calories you need to burn to lose the weight you want to lose. You should tally your caloric intake and never let yourself go under 1200 calories a day. It sounds like you may be under the 1200. I'd eat a little more for breakfast, lunch is fine, but supper should be kicked up a bit too. Watch the smoothies as they can have a bunch of sugar, which is your enemy. Cut the afternoon snack out completely if you can. If not, have a small fugi apple instead. Also 1 mile only burns about 150 calories, you should step that up to 2 - 3 miles, even if you do 1/2 of that in the morning and the other 1/2 in the evening. I hope that helps...

10 pounds in 1 month is crazy if you are just gonna walk. 1 pound of fat is equal to about 3500 calories a lot huh but if you eat what your eating then maybe 2-3 months it might happen. btw try not to eat to much at night before you go to sleep because its never fun to run with a full stomach in the morning

You are maken me hungery, that sounds great but just doing that wont help you lose weight really fast. I have never tried slim fast before but i have tried a shake from herbalife and i lost 5 pounds in one week and i did not even want to lose weight you can visit http://www.HerbUrHealth.net for more info. Thats really healthy/ All I recomend is swiching the lunch and dinner around. Or have a larger dinner and dont change anything else. just remember to relax and enjoy life. In un healthy to lose 2 pounds every week.

u need to eat more...with that amount of food your body will go into starvation mode..meaning your body will start storing fat since it thinks its starving. so u will gain weight
