I seldom, IF EVER, agree with statements made by my fellow theists. I find scrutiny and speculation to be a path to better intellect.
Also, to put it in perspective, I often see Christians correcting others, but have never seen it done by atheists. However, unlike you, I justify this observation by reasoning that I am simply looking for people who act similarily to me, as do you.
The problem here is your own psychological predisposition to see things in the fashion that supports atheism, not the actual occurences of reality. Don't feel bad, we all do it. But it's good to work on it.
God Bless.

Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
We all know that we are sinner saved by grace and that when someone points out a criticism, that we can all benefit to be more like Jesus.

I am Christian and I don't agree with many of the christian answers. I usually don't give my opinion because then Christians, Atheists, Muslims, Buddhists and others would be making fun of me. I often also feel like I would need to write many paragraphs explaining many other things so that people would understand my answer and no one is going to all of that read that so why bother. I choose my battles carefully.

I trust your referring to questions that Christians agree with? If a Christian says "God is a pretty neat guy" within ear shot of another Christian, it seems only natural to me that the second Christian would respond with an "amen!" while the atheist (also in ear shot) would disagree and try to correct the FIRST Christian about how God is NOT a pretty neat guy.
Or did I misunderstand your question?

Maybe so, but maybe its just because we get discouraged by the amount and severity of the Christian-hating atheistic questions. Maybe we get to thinking that its useless to argue with a hard-headed atheist, and to a degree this is the truth. The bible does warn against exposing our faith and our soft-spots to those to pig-headed to accept the message.
However you raise a serious issue. I think we should be wary, but not to the point where there are entire threads of Christian-bashing. Stand up, brothers and sisters and spread the gospel with the dominion and autority given to us through Christ!

I'd say you're just on at the wrong time of the day. I try quite honestly to look at answers on a case-by-case basis. However, it's possible that those of us who try our best to stay away from the religious sections might be the same ones who try their best to not blindly agree with just anything. :) That could definitely be the reason you don't see it more often.

Amen means so be it.
It's our way of agreeing with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
I've seen it all different times of the day and night, weekdays and weekends.

you should visit christian chat. There is more critisizm of christians by other christians than by atheists of christians. I think in this forum all the christians figure they get attacked enough by unbelievers that the brethren doesn't need to hear it from another christian quibbling over secondary issues.
