Hi.I'm planning to propose to my wonderful gf on her birthday.I know she'll say yes - we've talked about it often enough.I'm terrible at expressing myself especially with the lovey-dovey stuff.
What can i say to her to sweep her off her feet, make her happy & make the night memorable?I don't want to just say i love you honey will you marry me?
What other loving romantic stuff can i say to her that tells i love her so much & that she means the world to me? I'm terrible at this.I had to write here for advice on a Valentines Card!
For sure i want to be with this girl forever.I just want to make her night the most special night of her life so far.Any help will be gratefully received! Thanks from a tongue-tied Jackie.

stupido#1 - nice thought mate but no.We're both the shy retiring types to be honest.I know she wouldn't want to be the centre of attention at a place like that.It would freak her out quicker.

Start off with an "I love you". Everything you tell her has to come from your heart. You already love her and she loves you. Tell her exactly how you feel about her, how has she changed you, re-live past memories, like firsst dates and first kisses. You'll do fine. Congradulations

There are steps you can take to actually build a strong, stable marriage and avoid divorce. Read here https://tr.im/OVgRo

Here are some key steps to apply to your marriage:

- Start by understanding and being informed.

You can never be too informed about tools, methods and studies about building successful marriages. Understand the risk factors like your age and maturity at marriage can determine how successful it will be, the anatomy of an affair and what you can do after infidelity. Understand the success factors like the personal and psychological circumstances that will influence your marriage, what are the tools and approaches available to you in dealing with conflict, and numerous other relevant data. All this information is readily available to you whether through self-help material, through a counselor, support group or other venues. In fact, we have made it our commitment to provide these to you in different formats to help you make the best marriage you can.

The thing is, remember, this is information is not available for you to begin hyper-psychoanalyzing your relationship, yourself and your partner. It's not a matter of spewing trivia for the sake of conversation ' information is there for you to ponder over and internalize to help you transform yourself and your marriage. That includes maturing to such a point that you become more competent in your knowledge but more prudent in approach.

If your very first date was successful and a memorable night, then repeating that is always a good start - a nice scenary is a lovely mood setting also.
Say things that are true, open up and be honest, over the next couple of days whatever you think about her that is nice, write it down! WRITE IT DOWN! A small speech will appear in your head most likely that you think she will like depending on her character and wahey.. your engaged XD

take her to a sporting event that she happens to like and make arrangements to have your proposal asked on the big screen, it will be a most memorable moment for you and when you hear the wild cheers of thousands of fans you'll both treasure the moment for a lifetime.

Just tell her you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her. That's simple enough. We have to keep things simple these days you know.

the most romantic thing i think is just saying how you feel that you love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her, i (in my opinion) would rather have a man saying how he truly feels to me than having a big extravagant thing to say 'marry me'
