There's this guy (call him M) who says he really likes me and he has no problem saying that so I don't think he's shy or anything. I've told him I liked him too, but...
...he thinks this one guy likes me and I've told him that I don't like him like that and I just think he's okay and sometimes a little weird. But in every conversation I have with him, he always says stuff like, "You guys are so perfect," "You walked home with him, your boyfriend? So cute." "You guys are like lovebirds." When he says this stuff he's joking around and I joke around too and say stuff like, "Haha, oh yeah, me and him - we're perfect." And there's this one celebrity who I said looks and seems pretty cool and M answered, "He looks gay." The thing is, I never bring up the other guy, he always does. I don't think he does this because he's shy, because he says he likes me a lot and tells me all the time.
What's with him??

he's jealous and he's not joking around when he makes those comments he might act like he is but he's not. he's saying those things because thats what he feels and when he brings it to your attention don't joke along with him. let him know that its like that between you and the other guy. he's insecure and you saying those things doesn't help. it just makes him even more insecure. all he needs is reassurance. but, to stop him from doing that be serious and say look i'm tired of you making those smart remarks, i've told you its you i like and no one else.. the other guy is just a friend and nothing more.
i know where he's coming from and how you feel because i was just like that to my ex-girlfriend and it caused a lot of problems and thats why me and her didn't last. insecurities in a relationship can destroy it. so if you both want to be together than you and him have to work together to get him to stop feeling that way. hope everything works out, take care.

M sounds very jealous of this other guy, and wants to be sure that you don't like the other guy as much as you like M.
Next time he brings this guy up, just say, somewhat exasperated but also jokingly, "Gee, you must be so in love with him! You're always bringing him up, talking about him, hoping he's gay... just go marry him already, you're so obsessed!" Then you need to let M know if you like him or not, so he can stop being so jealous.

I think he is jelouse and wants to know for sure if you like the other guy. You have to get serious and tell Mr. M that you don't like the other guy and that you only like him and that he better stop joking around that way around you.

I think this is his way with copeing with another guy likeing you or just that is the way he is with things. Ask him or else you will never really know

Maybe, him and the other guy, are freinds, and the other guy sent "M" to hint that the other guy likes you. You may have to get both of them together and make it very clear, that all you want to be is freinds!
