We get a lot of other peoples' mail in our mailbox here. I know that mail deliverers are human and make mistakes, but this seriously happens ALL THE TIME. We always leave the misdirected mail in our mailbox, but we're worried that we're not getting all of OUR mail, too. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?

Keep track of how many pieces of other people's mail you receive in a week, then call and report the employee.

It happens here to. I just put the mis-directed mail back out. have wondered a few times about someone else getting my mail. It's a good idea to have a general time (date) when you think things like credit card statements, banking statements or anything that contains your personal information should arrive. If there to late contact the postmaster. If the mail mix up happens a lot, I'd report that to.

In my office, I am resposible for all outgoing and incoming mail. Yes, we have this problem constantly. If you are not sure of which post office is responsible for your mail delivery, you should visit the postal services' website: www.usps.com and you can find the right one. Call them (I have had problems getting a hold of them, but that my be office-specific). You can then complain and report your carrier.

Contact the postmaster at your local post office and complain.

Maybe your lettercarrier's eyesight isn't what it should be or his/her mind is not on the job when it should be.
