Its an information i got from a book regarding Congress in the US.
And i'll like a real translator. Not from a website.
Thanks in advance.
Here it is.....
Washington DC, the US federal capital, is where both the White House and Capitol are situated. the capitol houses congress, the legislative branch of government, which consists of the House of
Representatives and the senate. As in Italy, the two houses have more or less the same powers and their main duty is of course, to make laws.
The Senate has 100 members, two from each state, however big or small and whatever the population. Senators are elected for six-year terms in office. Every two years a third of them comes up for election so that there can be no drastic changes in one election. Among its various powers is that of acting as jury in case of impeachment such as during scandalslike watergate and irangate.

The house of representatives is made up of 435 members , who are elected every two years. Each state has a certain number of representatives according to its population, so delaware has only one, while california has 47. The house is particularly responsible for financial matters. It also has the power to impeach any government official, even the president himself.

The two major political parties in the USA are the Republican and the Democratic parties. In general the Republicans believe in less centralized power, less social welfare and lower taxes as an incentive to free enterprise, why the Democrats consider that the government should help the socially underprivileged. However both parties are so large that they each have a more liberal and conservative wing and they vary enormously from state to state.
Other parties do exist but they are far smaller than these two. Finally there are pressure groups who try
and persuade congressmen to vote for or against a particular bill. These so called lobbies are an important feature of american politics. They often have great influence on what decisions are taken.
