Hi, Im just wanting to know if red bull the drink can help increase weight loss, as I got a can of it today and I read the back of it and it says increase metabolism, I know this is because of the caffine and the Taurine, but do you think if you were to drink it regulary everyday it will help you to loose weight. Ive tried the weight loss pills that have almost the exact ingredients they work for weight loss but dont agree with my body. I was just wondering if any one uses red bull for weight loss. Thanks for your help.

A few studies indicate that large amounts of caffeine — the equivalent of six cups of coffee a day — may slightly enhance weight loss in people who exercise and maintain a low-fat diet. But no studies indicate that weight loss from large amounts of caffeine is significant or permanent. There's also no evidence that increasing caffeine intake alone has any effect on weight loss.
Is caffeine an appetite suppressant? Yes, but this effect lasts only a very brief period — not long enough to lead to significant weight loss. Does caffeine increase your body's ability to burn calories? Maybe, but again, probably not enough to result in significant weight loss.
Caffeine does act as a diuretic, which means it causes an increase in the amount of urine you excrete. This water loss may decrease your body weight. But it doesn't decrease body fat. Also, keep in mind that caffeine is a stimulant that can increase your heart rate and blood pressure, interrupt your sleep, and cause nervousness and irritability. Also, many caffeinated beverages are high in calories, which can contribute to unwanted weight gain.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

I wouldn't recommend using Red Bull or any other caffeine drink to help you lose weight. Over use of caffeine can cause serious health problems - people have died from drinking too much Red Bull!
If you want to lose weight the best thing you can drink is water!

check the amount of calories... that should answer your question.
There is no miracle, to lose weight, you have to spend more energy than you eat. The best way to increase your metabolism is to practise a sport - not just walking 30mn, a proper full on cession. (at least 1 hour 4-5 days a week)

invest in some slimming tablets.. like adios or something.. failing that, you can get caffeine tablets in most shops... they speed up your metabolism WITHOUT all the nasty sugar... to be honest, the sugar in those drinks probably wipe out the benefits of the caffeine... but remember... caffeine is quite addictive.. and can cause "laxative effects"
