This may not be what you wanted when you asked this question, but i thought that this may be a good time to answer. Well, I currently am engaged and I am in a College Fraternity. There is commonly a misconception when it comes to guys in fraternities. These perceptions are not always true and I would like to let others know that fraternities do great things for the community that they are apart of. Peace.

I was in a co-ed fraternity. I used to date women from other sororities all the time. I used to date women from my fraternity too. Fraternities and Sororities don't make a bad person, it is a person who makes for a bad organization. Don't judge a person because of their social life.
Hope that answers your question.

I dated a guy that was in a college fraternity. we were the first open gay couple circa 1994 in his fraternity. i loved his frat bros - really cool guys.
He was also vice pres of his college and later became a doctor.
Be true to your fraternity and uphold your traditions, don't 'use' or 'belittle' people, be a man and uphold your honor.
PS - Since I seem to be one of the few positive people on here, I was also friends with a sorority girl. She ended up being a b*tch but her boyfriend, a frat boy, was great and could handle me being gay.
I don't think all frats are bad but you have to know your brothers. The problem, with most frats is that they have lost focus.

ME - my BF in college devoted his heart to his frat. (ugh hell week was more then enough thanks).
My next loser boy friend was 27 and still living in a frat -
and my husband of 14 years is very loyal with all of his DTD frat brothers to this day! They have an "amazing" bond.
It's fine though - as we're passed those days. For him it was a life long friendship for him - Kind of nice actually when we do get together with these folks.

They are fine as long as try not to fall into the stereotypes...partying, binge drinking, having sex with anyone that moves then never calling them.....It's okay as long as you can be a mature frat boy.
