After I eat - no matter what I eat - I get nauseous. I haven't thrown up but darn near close. It doesn't matter if it is fat ladden or a cracker. I am not pregnant. The dr. gave me blood test for thyroid - but everything came out ok. He told me to take prilosec (sp?) but nothing is working. I used to look forward to eating - now I dread it! It has been going on for 2 months now. Anyone help???

Some might say that modern medicine and all it can do for you is the true answer to our prayers.

If you aren't getting the answers you'd like, find another doctor or see a gastroenterologist. There's a lot that might be going on--gallstones, acid reflux, etc. You might have anxiety you're not aware of. How long have you taken the Prilosec for? It might take a while to work. Still, if you have a prescription plan, it doesn't make sense for you to take OTC medication.

Good luck.

You may have gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). Or there may be another cause- check with your doctor again. But a medication that may be helpful to you is called Reglan- you will need a prescription.

Have you been taking any medicine? If so, maybe that's the problem.
The most you can do is PRAY about it. The lord almighty can help with anything.
Also, you might need to talk to a doctor. Maybe you have the flu.
