what is some thoughts on this early day light saving time?

i hope early day light saving time won't effect all my hardware.

Much to do about nothing. Worst case you turn DST off on your computer and manually set the time. Big deal, you do it twice a year.

I don't see how it saves energy. It isn't going to be any warmer or the days actually longer.

You'll be fine. If it saves energy and $$$ I think it's great.
