I waitressed before and Im 5'1" , and I weigh 120, I had to carry alot of stuff and I managed so I think you'll be ok. its a real fun job.the only hard part of waiting sometimes is having to bite your tounge when a customer gets rude with you. but at the end of the day you'll have fun counting all your tips. good luck!

You should be fine. I'm 5'9" and around 140 and could haul trays, cases, you name it, just fine. It won't bulk you up, but you'll definitely get stronger. And your endurance will go up too. For anyone who's ever told me that waitressing wasn't an aerobic activity, I dare them to try it for one night...

I don't think you will have any problem, Over time your strength will bulid up. Don't feel bad if at first you have to make a couple trips and plus your height will help you.

It is really about balancing your tray. Also, don't carry more than you think you can handle. You can always ask someone to help you. There is always someone out there that will lend you a helping hand.
