when I cook pork ribs I boil them until there tender with seasoned water. I put garlic salt, bay leave, and a cut onion. take them out and than lay them on a baking sheet or dish and brush on the bar-b-q sauce. bake them at 350 for 15 minutes, brush more sauce, stick it in the oven for 5 more minutes and you have some great tasting ribs. I hope this works for you. whatever you do, dont put the pork ribs in a bowl to mix the bar-b-q sauce, cause the meat will fall apart.

Use a marinade to furnish it style and juice. Marinade it for quite a few hours or over nighttime interior the refrigerator. a speedy marinade is easy soy sauce black pepper (freshly floor), upload minced onion. Spiced Honey-Glazed Pork Ribs Recipe

Baby pork ribs can be found in supermarkets or Chinese meat markets. Young ribs are more tender and juicy. Generally they come in entire sides; 2 sides should be enough for this recipe. Serve with Twice Fried Rice or Vegetable Fried Rice.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

Marinade:

1 cup soy sauce

1 cup sake (Japanese rice wine)

1/3 cup sesame oil

1 teaspoon ground dried chili flakes

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger

2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic

2 sides (about 3 pounds) baby pork ribs

4 scallions, cut into chiffonade (see cooking tips)

RECIPE METHOD

1. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the marinade.

2. Place the ribs in a container just large enough to hold them one on top of the other, or use a large re-sealable food storage bag. Pour the marinade over the ribs, cover with plastic wrap or tin foil, or pour into the re-sealable bag with the ribs. Let marinate in the refrigerator overnight.

3. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.

4. Place half the marinade in a baking pan with the ribs and bake, turning the ribs frequently, for about 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.

5. Under a pre-heated broiler or on a wood-fired grill glaze the ribs for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Watch carefully so they do not burn.

Remove the ribs and cut each side into individual pieces.

Jamaican Jerk Braised Spareribs Recipe

Seasoned with the sweet-heat of Jamaican Jerk - a blend of peppers, thyme and tropical spices, including cinnamon and allspice - these ribs never last long after they're cooked.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS

3 pounds pork spareribs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet Collection Ground Black Pepper

4 tsp. McCormick Gourmet Collection Jamaican Jerk Seasoning, divided

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 1/2 cups beef broth

3/4 cup orange juice

1/3 cup dark rum

1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

RECIPE METHOD

Trim ribs and cut into 2-rib portions. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper, and rub with 3 teaspoons jerk seasoning. Dredge ribs lightly in 3/4 cup flour. Brown ribs, in batches, in hot oil in a large ovenproof Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Return ribs to pan; add broth and orange juice. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and cover tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove ribs with a slotted spoon, reserving drippings in pan.

Add rum, brown sugar, and remaining 1 teaspoon jerk seasoning to reserved drippings, whisking until blended. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, whisking constantly, 10 minutes.

Whisk together 3 tablespoons sauce and 2 tablespoons flour until smooth; add to remaining sauce and cook, whisking constantly, 2 to 3 minutes or until slightly thickened. Serve with ribs and, if desired, mashed sweet potatoes.
