Pride is blaming it on UFC (Dana White) and UFC is blaming it on Pride. It seems that they don't like eachother. I heard Dana White blasting Pride. Isn't the real problem deciding who will host the fight? Maybe UFC wants it in the octagon while Pride wants it in the ring? What's the real story?

I don't care for the fight anymore, it is 3 years overdue and Silva is now punch drunk. I would rather see Liddell fight Arona or Rua. Everyone thinks they can point fingers at each org but it was all BS from the beginning, the fight was never going to happen and it was all publicity. Even if the fight happens now, it's all a scam because they are no longer in their primes and it simply for money.

Pride is going to collapse financially and they want the right to promote the match for the cash of course! Wanderlie also wants a lot of money...he's great but after losing 2 straight matches it's a bit difficult to award him so much! Pride needs to sell their company already...they even challenged to put 2 of their best fighters from each weight class against 2 of the UFCs best fighers for money...that's how bad they need it! Pride has awesom fighters but they need to stop being so greedy!

They want the rights to promote the fight. Think about it, Liddell vs Silva would be a HUGE moneymaker with the popularity that MMA has gained, and neither promotion wants to give up the money that comes with being able to promote that fight.
