Satan is a created being...created BY God before he (Satan) chose to disobey God.
He is not a God, just a self-deluded angel that thinks he's as powerful as God. Sort of like your three year old nephew telling you how he's gonna beat you up.
Satan was given a choice to obey God or not. The consequences were eternal fire. Satan made his choice, and is really angry about it. He wants to defeat God (impossible) so he tries to take down all the people...because he knows in the end he has already been defeated (at the cross).

Satan is the god of this system of things, 2 Corinthians 4:4, whose has the eyes of the unbelievers blinded, the whole world is lying in his power, 1 John 5:19. He is a wicked god. The Bible says there are many gods but there is only one true God, 1 Corinthians 8:5,6.

Satan is not a god. Satan is a fallen angel. He was the MOST powerful and beautiful angel but corrupted himself and is fallen. He was Lucifer but is now fallen and called Satan. He is powerful, but not as powerful as God. God can create from nothing...Satan can only corrupt. It's like one person has the ability to paint beautiful pictures...the other can only take the painting before it dries and muss it up.

He has no powers like God. He can not be everywhere at once. He is a fallen angel, not a God.

Satan was originally meant to be more like a prosecutor (or"devils advocate") but he has been exaggerated and blown out of proportion over the centuries

No. Satan was God's prosecuting angel. Christians use him as a scape goat.

Well, people certainly worship him, if that's what you mean... and forgiveness, loving(ness?), kindness... no I don't think he has the same powers as God.
