my boyfriend of 3 years says im gorgeous and stuff like that but he keeps turning down sex with me when i want it.
we never seem to be in the mood at the same time anymore.
whne he wants it he just wants to get on with it no foreplay or anything. so it doesnt happen.
it makes me feel unattractive. it doesnt matter what i wear or do to him.
even when i turn him on he always seems to have something else to do first and it doesnt happen.
what should i do?

Savannah - the real truth is, most relationships eventually experience this sort of fizzle. It may be a temporary situation due to stress at the job (or whatever), or it may be an indication that the relationship is over. It's really easy to mistake lust for love...and it's also easy to stay in a relationship long-term that was never really a relationship in the first place.....
You want validation of your sex appeal by inspiring him to perform....and it sounds like he just wants to be left alone. Does this sound like love from either party to you?
Sex does not equal love, nor does it equal self-worth or validation in any way. Oh, that's how it's packaged and sold to us, but real sexual satisfaction and intimacy comes the old fashioned way that God, granny, and your mom intended......by waiting until the right one comes along....the one who wants to walk you down the aisle and have you be the mother of his children. THAT is true love, and that is when sex will really go to meaning something. when you keep it within the boundaries of marriage. Throw the Cosmopolitan magazine in the trash, because you have been lied to! Sex whenever, however, and with whoever you feel like it is NOT the path to true happiness and a committed relationship. And you are experiencing this truth for yourself right now.
Don't stay in an unsatisfactory, unloving relationship. Listen to some good advice - do this the old fashioned way and you absolutely won't regret it!

You should probably talk to him about it! If your in love and have been for 3 years then you can talk about anything! Tell him how he is making you feel and he'll probably change it..maybe he doesn't even realize what he's doing. Maybe you should question this relationship..if he's not talking to you or feeling attracted to u how will the relationship work in the end?

I would like to say that all girls sumtimes feel like that but to me it sounds like you arnt that bothered about being with your fella. Maybe its time to move on and spread ypur wings with sumone you really care for and stop treating him like dirt. Maybe he is tryin his hardest but you dnt want to see that. I think you need to grow up alittle. Have you thought that maybe he has someone else and is trying to tell you the nice way??? I have been reading your other questions bout your fella and you come across as selfish and a user no wonder he wont move in with u i wouldnt.

My dear, how old are you?
Don't be anxious to have sex, it will happen when the time is right. Maybe he is scared and that is why he is putting you off.
Have self esteem with yourself, life has a lot to offer, believe that.
