it means that the speaker has either been damaged in shipping or somehow damaged. It basically means they have had the item and done whatever the want with it and it could be broken or it could work and they are just selling it as is with no compensation if it is broken.
Say you bought a speaker from a pawn shop and it broke a week after you installed it you would prolly sell it on e-bay "as-is". so just message the guy/girl that is selling and ask them so questions about the product to see why they are selling it like that. good luck

"as-is" means that the item may work or it may not work but no matter what you agree to take the merchandise with no warranty or guarantee. Many people who sell things which have not been tested list them as "as - is". The safe consumer should for all practical purposes regard this statement to mean "does not work!" If you buy the item and it works then great you scored.

No guarantee as to its condition, which means if its broken you cant return it. Usually not a good idea to buy these items, especially if you suspect the seller in question of deciet.

Means they are not guaranteeing anything... no warranty. If you get it, and it stops working 2 days later, sorry for you.
