KEEP IT REAL! If it was bad then you shouldn't worry about letting him down easy. The hardest part is done - you're broken up. Now tell him to go get a life. One that doesn't include you. Be his friend if you want to - but tlak to him like a friend would. "Man, I gotta be real with you. You're kinda hanging around and it's making me uncomfortable now that we're not together anymore. Do you think we could spend some alone time before we get right back into kicking it again?" Good luck honey ... I know it's hard but you can do it.

You either stand firm with him or you continue to lead him on. You claim you had a bad relationship with the ex. There shouldn't be a problem telling him to leave you alone. If you don't want him to treat you as his girl, then stop allowing him to come close enough to touch you. Don't complain about something that you are not trying to prevent. Thank you and good luck.

If that's the case, you decline his offers.
If he tries to kiss, prevent it from happening.
Well, there's nothing wrong if he kisses you on the cheek and you just take it as a friendly kiss.
Talk to him and set limitations.

Oh boy, you should definitely put your foot down. Pull him aside and break it too him nicely of course.

Be honest with him - tell him that having him around makes you feel odd and that you can't handle him always being around and trying to kiss you.

Hopefully that helps!
Good luck!

Get a big, studly, football-player type rebound boyfriend and hang around him all the time. Then, if your ex makes a move, your new boyfriend can give him the message for you.

Stay the hell away from him. If it was a bad relationship. It would only get worse by letting him stay around. It won't get better. Trust me. Been there.

How did the relationship end? It sounds like you're going to have to be upfront with him, and just tell him you're not together anymore, and you don't want him coming around.
