Yeah, I agree with what the other person asked, is your friend gay, too? Did he come out to you and tell you he is gay and if he did, did he come out and tell you that he likes you, too? Listen, I think you should MOVE AWAY FROM RACIST GRANDPA and not tell him. The fact that he was in the Klan makes me realize that he wished he was back in the 40's, you know, where lynchings were still legal. if you are living with your grandpa, that is sad. But, if not, why tell some racist that you are gay? Really, no matter what, he will turn his back on you and may call you every name in the book, throw it at you and maybe try to "cleanse" you from this "disease". (Because ignorant ******* like your grandpa thinks this way.)
So, do not tell Mr. Racist and try to move far, far away.
Or, hide who you are, live under a lie and deal with the racism he probably shells out and what you have heard plenty of times.
I am sorry to say that I do not like people like your grandpa but, when he dies, man, what an interesting meeting that would be for him.

dont tell your grandpa #1 if there might be some trouble with all of this. #2 only tell your friend if he is gay. if he is not, then really be careful about letting him know AT ALL. if you cant tell him, did you still want to be his friend without the love that their could be? that's a tough call. i think after 4 yrs both you guys would know that feelings would start to get stronger for each other. just be careful and choose words carefully. dont scare your friend away b/c that will break your heart even more than not telling him right?

Hello,
I know how sad you are, you are in love with your friend, and you love your grandpa.
You did not say how old you are, or if you live with your grandpa.
All I can say is, there is nothing wrong with being gay, your grandpa comes from a different time, if this is going to be very upsetting to him, then I would keep it quiet, there is no need to tell him, especially if you are living in his home and if you are under age.
As far as you falling in love with your best friend, is he gay, if he is gay, it is okay to tell him, if he is not gay, then best not to tell him, for you will lose him as your friend.
I know it is tough, this world has not accepted gay people, and it is ashame.
I wish you all the luck in the world.

I strongly advise against this, do not tell your Grand-pa. Somethings are better untold. As long as you live under any one elses roof, not supporting yourself, I would not share this information until I was out on my own. Another thing, I don't admire any man that would wear a white hood and hang a person because of their skin color.

First of all...is your best friend gay too? That's important. If not, you'll just have to keep it to yourself. If he is, then tell him.
As for grampa....it's none of his business. He has lived the kind of life that doesn't entitle him to your kindness and trust.
