I don't have a serious acne problem, but I have little whiteheads that be turning into blackheads, then they dry out and come off. At least they don't stay with me for long, but I would love to know which types of food I should eat to prevent acne and what vitamins are great for preventing acne?

I've seen a research study online that was done in China (I think) and it showe that taking high doses of Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) reduces acne. This research was done on a group of people with Acne Vulgaris (worse form of acne) and by taking 10gram a day, their acne was significantly reduced. The only downfall with this is that, in order to get 10g of this vitamin, you would need to take 20 pills a day since most places offer then in 500mg tablets. Now since you probably dont have Acne Vulgaris, you probably wont need so much but if you want a smooth face, its worth a try.
