my dog got fixed this morning at 7am, he is just laying down and not eating, not going to the bathroom, not moving much, and just constitly shakes and wants to be on me, when will he be back to normal and not hurting so much?

It will take a day or two. It may take 6-8 hours for the anesthesia to be out of his system, it could take as long as 24 hours. That and possibly being in a little pain can make him shake.

The vet should have given you pain medication to give him for tonight and tomorrow. Give it as directed to keep the pain at bay.

He probably will be a bit lethargic today, but will probably be significantly better tomorrow a.m.

I love your concern. By tomorrow he should be fine. If you are still worried tomorrow just call you vet and talk to them. That way you will be reassured. Just hold his little paw and tell him things will be just find. I remember when I had my male fixed I laid on the floor with him all night. He slept I didn't.

Every animal is different in recovery time, just be paitient.
If I lost my nuts I would be traumatized as hell! You did the right thing though.

Keep him warm.Cover him with a blanket.He will be alright tomorrow.
