You are right about the carrots, they do turn the skin of babies orange if you feed them an excessive amount. No need to worry about bananas though, they are actually extremely healthy: they help to get a better digestion and they also help to fight depressions! Just google for "serotonin in bananas" and you'll get many links with interesting explanations. I'm not posting any specific links because most of them contain advertisements for supplements - just use the keywords mentioned above, click on the links, but don't buy any of those pills! Eating some bananas is much better and tastes better too...:-)

You can't eat enough bananas to turn your skin yellow, but if you wont to try you'll turn green first ( oh I'm sick ). Is what youll be saying. Bananas can't turn your skin yellow, but they can make you weigh more.Get on a scale and weigh youself, eat 2 pounds of bananas and you'll weigh 2 pounds more.

None ma'am. Although with Del Monte's genetic mutants I wouldn't place this ability past them. Only carrots can turn skin a color and that was fighter pilots who ate too many carrots ! (for vitamin A to have plane flying night vision during WW2)
