America isn't destroyed but it sure is wounded, I blame George Bush and his decision to go to war with Iraq. He has divided this country and a divided country can not stand.

I am America and I am not destroyed!!
I don't think being a minority makes you noble, victimized or privileged over others, especially those others more qualified for the job. I don't care if you do call me a racist, homophobe, or misogynist. I don't owe you ****, and will not be intimidated by you! I've never owned nor was a slave, I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting released from Egypt. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you so shut the hell up already. Get an education, get qualified for a job and start being productive. I've worked hard all my life for what I have and damn sure am not giving it up to any welfare freeloaders. I will call you human and treat you with the respect you deserve until your actions prove you otherwise. I treat all humans this way no matter what race they happen to be, and expect the same in return. If you've got a job, support your family, and pay taxes, you're a contributing member of our society. If not, you're a detriment to that society, a total waste to your species, and the scum of the Earth. Don't expect me to treat scum as human. If the shoe fits, wear it, It's your problem, not mine. Deal with it! Yes, I am America! I average between 23 and 70 years old and live North, South, East and West in small towns and rural areas from border to border and coast to coast. I may or may not be in a Militia Group, but I’ve probably been in the Military. My neighbors and I know each other well and we are well armed. We will stay low key until the need arises to defend our Country, our way of life, our communities, our families and whatever else is ours, to the death if necessary. If threatened, we are ready to rise up and crush anarchist and criminal activity with extreme measures. There will be no Maranda warnings, plea-bargains or prisoners, just swift and sure retribution. A motto during the American Revolution was "Don't Tread On Me". No truer words were ever spoken. For you punkass terrorists, gangbangers, and nonbelievers of today who think you "Rule" and have no respect for this country or it's citizens, plus have no clue as to what America is all about, beware! The time is coming that what you sow will come back to you and be "in your face" tenfold. Keep up your lawless ways and one day soon you will have the misfortune to meet me, the true "Bad American" face to face. You won't be dealing with the "Politically Correct" Government, but the common citizens who are the true rulers of the land. Then punk, we will truly "Dance" on your unmarked grave!

If you consider that America is destroyed, then the American people have done it to themselves!
For years people have not questioned what the government was doing in our name, we made no out cry at the shifting of power in our government. We don't bother to vote, let the other guy, I know people who brag about not voting! People don't pay attention to anything unless it affects them specifically. When a law is made affecting another & not us directly, we do nothing. But with every law that is changed or introduced as new law, it makes way for another new law. Until the people wake up that their rights are gradually being taken away. The best thing to do is be aware of what your government is doing in your name, write to your Senators & Congress people. Let them know that you are on the ball. Write letters to the editor of local papers voicing your concerns, others in your area may not be aware of things that are happening around them. Speak up, use your vote. That is the only way to take back our government.

America is too large has too many nations to be destroyed by anything or anybody. If you destroyed the United States, Canada and Brazil there would still be more than 50% of America standing.
It can't be done.

I guess it depends on what you mean by the term "destroyed."
If you're conservative, you probably mean that America's values have been destoryed. In that case, the answer you're looking for is "liberals."
If you're liberal, you must mean that America's innocence and local bookstores have been destroyed. Then the answer you want is "conservatives."
If you're extrememly conservative, you mean that America's willingness to kick people in the ___ has been destroyed. Then the answer is "Hillary Clinton and Mexicans."
If you're extremely liberal, you mean that America's normalized social relativistic social norms have been destroyed. Then the answer is "Dick Cheney and Fox News."
If you're a politicized fundamentalist Christian, you mean that America's devotion to Jesus has been destroyed. Your answer is "homosexuals."
If you're a radicalized fundamentalist Muslim, you mean that America's potential to follow the teachings of Muhammed has been destroyed. Then the answer is "Israel and Vassar College."
If you're an environmentalist, you believe America's wetlands have been destroyed, along with its aura. You blame "Greedy people, man."
If you're a suburban soccer mom, you believe America's peace of mind and sense of security have been destroyed. You believe the answer is "Hip Hop."
If you're a pyschologically unstable conspiracy theorist, you believe America's vast underground plutonium mills have been destroyed. Then the answer is "Cybill Shepherd."
But I know what you really mean. You mean what destroyed the original lineup of America, the band known for such classic hits as "Ventura Highway" and "A Horse With No Name." The answer is the grueling process of recording 1977's "Harbor", after which founding member Dan Peek left the band to embark on a career in Christian pop music.

America was destroyed? When did this happen? It must have happened after I got to work this morning because for the last 26 years, I've been doing what I do everyday. Should I be scared to go outside?

Who destroyed America??? Hateful, intolerant people who hold no vision or compassion. Who have nothing better to do than to tear down others to make themselves feel so big and better. I do care, but until people can learn to live together, I really don't see alot of hope here, if people on this forum can't get along, and quit the bashing how can we expect this country to be what it has the potential for.

American is far from destroyed.
But the American people who decided that cheaper, inferior EVERYTHING is acceptable have helped with the shape it's in.
We have become a whiny, pathetic, politically correct disaster.
Stand up, have a spine, and call the kettle black when it is. No more painting everything a rosy picture when the world is not!

Are you patriotic? Do you hang a flag?
Do you shed a tear when we come home in a bag?
Do you support us? Do you show you care?
We are your Brothers, Sisters and friends
We are over here fighting with no quick end.
We are dying and defending foreign land
With miserable heat and never ending sand.
Do you say a prayer for our quick return?
Does it upset you when you see a flag burn?
I do not know when I will be home
Just think of me so I am not so alone. we are the people that care!!!
