If you sense something that is not enough...if he behaves desperate, then I will enjoy whatever we had for the date...and leave and give him a wrong number and a wrong email address....

The fact one is desperate that means they will take anything...I will not settle for anything, so we already have issues...

It not about sensing it, you know the person is desperate. No one likes desperation, its a total turn off for either sex. Be confident, be good at something and don't get so desperate and you will have all the dates you can stand.

Depends on why he's desperate. Could he be depressed because of a bad relationship he's gotten out of and lacking confidence? Why not find out by being his friend and just talking with him about relationships. Dating means going out and enjoying someone's company. You might enjoy his, you might not. But he obviously can't fake confidence he doesn't have at the moment. Too bad he's not a girl - he'd be a good candidate for a make-over!

no, desperate is a turnoff for most people. I hate when people try to push me into a relationship whether I want it or not. The best relationships just happen with no pressure.

nope. desperate guys are like leeches. i like to breathe every now and then and in my experience, desperate guys do not let you do that (on your own, at least).
