Why do guys like skinny girls?

Im not fat, but i have a little bit more meat. I had two boyfriends in the past but we ended up breaking up. I really want a bf but i feel like guys dont like girls who are not stick thin. Why is that?

sweetie, not all guys like thin skinny women. most men don't really even care about looks all that much. what a man really looks for is someone who he can talk to, with a great personality. someone with a good sense of humor. someone to just be there for them when no one else is able to be there.

your still young, don't be looking for a boyfriend, because when the time is right one will just be there looking for you. i'm even sure that right now there is someone interested in you, you just don't see it. lay back and relax.. take a deep breath and tell yourself that you are beautiful and you are a good person and you will find a boyfriend when your not looking!

Not ALL guys are hung up on girls who are stick-thin, it just seems that way to someone who is not. It must be frustrating for you to not have a boyfriend, and you are looking for reasons outside of yourself to blame for this.

Everyone has their preferences (I will not go into mine, as it is somewhat irrelevant), and wouldn't it be real boring if we were all the same? My belief is that it is not so much what the media is cramming down our throats (they only give us what sells), but that peoples' early sexual experiences determine what specifics they like--which I believe is also tied to peoples' fetishes. And lots of people have had sex at younger ages, when both parties were more likely to be stick-thin, so that is where their preferences lie.

Thats your own issue. You're looking for a reason why these guys didn't like you and the first or only think you can think of is that you are chunky. Sister, that ain't it. Guys HATE stick thin girls, the only people that perpetuate that crap are the media and GIRLS THEMSELVES. Guys dig athletic chicks. So what I'm saying is that there must be another reason that they dumped you other than the chunk.

i still cant decide what I think. I know guys go crazy for big boobs and butts, but they don't like fat girls. and I sure as heck know they don't think it's attractive to have a big butt and big boobs and then be stick thin in the middle, cuz that would look really weird. But also, they don't like little skin and bones girls. How about you let me know when you figure it out.

I'm not stick think either.... i have a boyfriend though.
I guess guys like girls who have a nice figure, and thin girls tend to look better in their eyes.

I dont know!! they are just interested in how people look!!I know how you feel!! i am not stick skinny either but its not like I am fat!! I am in the middle. Guys just dont seem to appreciate that!!

First of all, you seem pretty young, or you date rather young guys. Relax, study and have some fun with friends.

When you are older you can start worrying about dating, most men who are no longer in school and worrying about peer pressure prefer a woman who isn't so skinny.

if u broke up cuz ur not skinny, then those guys were shallow and not worth bein with anyway...if ur self-conscious about bein a lil bigger, u can change that, but don't change it 2 get guys, change it 4 urself...there r guys out there who prefer women with a lil meat on their bones, and there r actually guys who prefer big women...the ideal man doesn't have a preference; he likes u 4 u and not what u look like...good luck, sugar :o)

I agree... Need some meat on a stick. Bones hurt.
