While the cabinet can be a large contributer to the amount of air pushed forward from a speaker, most cabinets designed today do not offer much true engineering without spending a lot of money. Secondly, amplifiers do NOT greatly increase the amount of volume a speaker produces. Once you have matched the required wattage required to run a speaker you must double the wattage in order to make a 3dB gain in volume. 3dB is bairly audible to the human ear. This all being said the most cost effective way of getting better, louder sound from a speaker is to replace the speaker with one that has a better wattage/dB ratio! Remember the better speaker is not always the more expensive speaker. Learn what all the technical terms mean and read the speakers documentation before buying!

honestly, u really cant. an amp isnt gonna do that much for ur speakers, thats if u even amped them. and since their stock im assuming, the only thing u can do is turn the bass up. but that wont make any drastic improvements. if u want more bass, u need a subwoofer.

IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!
It's like trying to get a color picture out of a black and white tv. There's nothing that you can do to the tv (short or replacing it) that will make it have color.
If a speaker only has a certain frequecy range, say from 500-1.5K Hz, you cant do anything to make it reach a lower frequency. If you try, you're going to blow it.
Spend a little money, get some new stuff and ENJOY your music!!!!

The largest contributor to sound quality is the cabinet, not the driver sitting in it! If your drivers are not in some sort of cabinet - do that first.
ps, mounting speakers on the rear window deck is not a bad idea as the trunk space underneath acts like a cabinet.
